Geil, Guardian of Limbo

A deity that has been placed in charge of a realm called Limbo - a realm that sits between Heaven and Hell where souls are helped along to pass on to the afterlife.

Geil guards this place. He is half angel and half demon, finding no solace in either realm that lay adjacent to his. A corruption slowly eats away at him, afflicting the right side of his body. This has left part of his face encased in a pale, chitinous mask and his right arm to split into two, only to be fused together again back at the hand. He has also lost the lower half of his calves and feet, leaving him walking on ghostly remnants after falling in the river of Hell. An accursed rose grows from his mask while forget-me-nots grow on his broken staff.

A very gentle soul, despite his looks. He is caring to all souls that enter his realm.
