The Bloodletter

Blood Ties is a personal project I have been picking away at for nearly four years at this point in time.

Formally a doctor and undertaker in a dead-end town, Jonathan Simmons was always seen as an omen of death and desolation by his peers. This wariness led him to resent almost everyone around him, leaving him bitter and skeptical of the good in humanity. It wasn't until he crossed paths with George Mercer did he finally find light in his life. But that light would be quickly snatched away when the freelancer disappeared one fateful day. Once again, Jonathan's mind started to decay until he was full of nothing but spite. His patients would soon turn into his victims and the dead would become subjects of his studies.
Ultimately hanged for his crimes, Jonathan would soon find himself reawakened by the hand of Jeremiah as well. But even in his new, monstrous form, he was able to recognize another who rides beside the golden outlaw. One piece of solace Jonathan found in death was his lost partner, Ol' Six Shot.
